Nightlife in Amsterdam
Amsterdam is popular in Europe for being a city of party, especially nightlife. This Dutch city has very diverse and entertaining night experience. You can witness festive crowd gathering on the weekends - Thursday, Friday and Saturday. Thursday is not that much of busy night, but starts the ball rolling. Whisky buffs should not neglect halting at De Stil, Spuistraat 326, which has collection of 150 varieties of single malt whiskies. The proprietors/assistant will even impart you the knowledge of ‘whisky virgins' the initial phase of attaining whisky unassisted by mixer i.e. straight whisky. De Wildman, Nieuwezijds situated at Kolk 3, is famous among beer lovers. It has range of 200 varieties of beers gathered from roughly whole Europe . Cocktails have gained much popularity in Amsterdam in last few years. Well known cocktail called mojito can be tried, but special cocktail bars, with a variety of fresh cocktails with different flavors are also present.
The city has numerous good clubs, one of the biggest among them is Escape located on Rembrandtplein. Escape is popular for its each month special night and regular Saturday ‘Chemistry night'. These nights are very popular among clubber, because big names of international DJ world are attached to it. One can not be sure of getting entrance into it, especially, group of guys. Good option could be having a girl in the queue for easy access.
