Sights in Bangkok

 

Bangkok the capital city of Thailand is the hub for the traveling people from all over the world in the whole Southeastern Asia . The city has large number of sightseeing spread across and is a pleasing influence for all who visit. The city is not only home for major buildings, sky scrapers and modern architectures but is also a place for temples and is one among many countries that houses many Buddhist temples. Having been a full fledged city for nightlife is no less than nightlife for sightseeing. One reason for the increase in people is the Thai cuisine popularity in the world. Bangkok is been the entry point for all the visitors to the Thailand . City is more popular with urban landscapes that are of modern architecture.

 

There is a treasure house for Thai arts which is very famous and is the Wat Phra Kaeo, which is in same compound of Grand palace. There are three temples in this temple that has a golden Stupa preserve remnants of Buddhism, and there is a library or the Mondop that contains Buddhist scriptures like the Tripitaka and Royal Pantheon. Paintings depicting the story of Ramayana are the master pieces. Temple Wat Arun is on west bank of Chao Phraya River , it can be reached through the boat from Than Tien Pier and also by Arun Amarin Road . Wat Arun is also called the ‘ Temple of Dawn ' having the 79 meter pagoda that is decorated by the multi colored fragments of Porcelain with tiles of ceramics. The temple is beautiful from the east side of Chao Phraya during the sunset.

 

National gallery in Bangkok is near the National theatre that has both Thai art and the Western arts mixed and is the must visit place for the lovers of art. Special exhibitions are held occasionally and the admission is only by paying 30 Baht. Grand Palace is the place well known to all around the world. The palace has four separate buildings. Public is not entertained to visit whole of the buildings and only a part that houses Coin Pavilion and the Royal Thai Decoration is open to the public. But the palace is so beautiful that it is nice to so around the building and enjoy the beauty and the architecture. Lumphini park is the sounding name among the parks in Bangkok offering profusing greenery giving you protection from the scorching sun light. It also has two lakes and is used for singing ball room dances.

 

For enjoying the wildness among the urban jungle Bangkok has Safari world which is a park for wild animals filled by African animals such as lions, giraffes, rhinos and many more giving the real wild life experience. Teak mansion is rated as the world's largest teak building constructed by the king Rama V in the 1800 as palace during summer in Ko Si Chang Island. Bangkok is a city with everything and there is nothing that it does not have from being a fully modernized city housing art, culture, modern and classical music living to the fullest liveliness.
