The beach is also divided into segments called the ‘postos'. The beach is always crowded and the people here play volleyball, footvolley and football. Ipanema beach has preferred hotspots for different types of people. Tourist beaches of Ipanema and Copacabana in Rio have a chain of hotels. The best option is to organizing a picnic to Pão de Açúcar or Sugar Loaf Mountain. The mountain has a beautiful view of Guanabara Bay and Rio .
While staying at Rio , you should try to understand Portuguese as many South American countries use the same phrases in their conversations and remembering help you when you visit other countries. Although you can live on with English, most people from the rural areas may not be able to understand English and you have to speak in their language to understand them.
